Catharos — Greek for "pure" — is a home-raised cattery producing pedigree Russian Blue kittens, GCCF & FIFe registered from champion bloodlines. Our last litter of four boys has now been fully rehomed — future litters will be announced here first.
Our kittens are born and raised inside our family home in Dundee, underfoot from day one — handled daily by adults and children alike, so each kitten leaves calm, confident, and well socialised.
The mother lives with us full-time; the father lives with another family member and is happy to be viewed by appointment. Both parents are GCCF and FIFe registered and come from champion bloodlines.
Beyond our resident queen, our home includes three other adult cats, so kittens grow up confidently around other cats as well as people and children.
Every kitten from this litter was fully vaccinated, GCCF & FIFe registered, microchipped, health-checked twice by a vet, and flea & worm treated — raised underfoot in our family home before heading off to their new families. More litters are on the way; join the waitlist below to hear first.
A quietly elegant breed with a reputation for being one of the calmest and most loyal companion cats.
A short, plush, silvery-blue double coat that stands out from the body — soft to the touch and famously low-shedding.
Reserved with strangers but deeply bonded to their family, Russian Blues are known for their quiet, undemanding affection.
Kittens' eyes deepen from blue to a striking emerald green by around four months old.
Intelligent, tidy, and generally reserved with noise — a wonderful fit for calm households and first-time pedigree owners alike.
ID verified breeder, on Pets4Homes since 2021, with a track record of responding to enquiries within six hours.
Kittens are raised inside a family home alongside three children — well handled, litter trained, and scratch-post trained.
Both parents are GCCF & FIFe registered from champion bloodlines, and available for viewing on request.
Have you welcomed a Catharos kitten into your home? We would love to hear about it — and other families deciding on a kitten will too.
